Had them lying around for some time now and decided to try them as a midnight snack ate them with my favorit sourdough bread fromm the farmersmarked cream cheese and cucumber als tryed one pure very salty and slightly bitter at the end pure defently to intennse for me but on the bread they added such a richness in flavor while loosing als the “unplesent” parts i still have 3 fillets left and am exited to ad them into a cooked dish to See how it will taste.

    I think in going to ad them into stir Fried veggies with some Rice and Egg does taht Sound good or maybe some Pasta with cream cheese and herb Sauce?

    Those look beautiful. I would take good anchovies over sardines any day. Hope your cooked dish turns out well. Thru melt into any rich sauce and turn into umami blast. 💜

    Maybe one day when I grow up, I’ll try anchovies straight from the tin, for now I use them lots in cooking
