This is one of the most delicious foods on the planet, the fish taco and there are people who love it while there are some who refuse to try it, which in that case is their loss. With that said we’re making two variations of the fish taco, a grilled version, and a fried version that will change all fish taco opinions for the better.

  1. My personal favorite way to cook fish tacos is to line a deep baking sheet with foil, put the fish down (usually whatever fresh white I can get my hands on), then top it with a wire rack. Put diced mango, jalapenos and crushed garlic cloves on the rack and bake it. The mango usually dries out a bit too much to eat, but does add it's flavor to the fish as the juices come out and drip down.

Shread the fish, serve on corn tortilla with a basic slaw, cilantro and lime like what Josh did here. I may have to try that pineapple relish though.

  2. Holy christ Gen Z can't even watch a goddamn cooking channel without the video getting edited like a fucking kids show on cocaine.

  3. 7:30 did he just touch the fish right as it came out of the hot oil? Glitch in the matrix. I think this NPC is broken

  4. Along the Central California coastline real fish taco's are made from fried rock cod. Cabbage on top, pico de gallo, and a spicy sour cream sauce. California Halibut and lingcod work too if you had a real good day fishing. All these fish are lean, which is why we fry. Rock cod in particular is plentiful but not particularly great or bad, but is somehow perfect for a fried fish taco, making fish tacos almost obligatory when you catch some rock cod.

  5. Hi. I love your videos, and I hope you can tolerate some critique. You make everything toooooo American. Like there is a perfect recipe for everything. Just relax, cooking in the rest of the world is "I have this. Maybe I'll add some of this "

  6. In Mexico, during lent (Catholic country) you can find fish (different kinds), squid, prawns, octopus, etc. breaded or not. You should try sometime!

  7. I'm making kids fish sticks. Wife asks if I can make a fish taco. I have cabbage, but what do I put on it? We have cilantro, we have limes. I knew JW wouldn't let me down!

You end up being the designated camp cook.
