Pressure canned some green beans & potatoes today from my garden in this glorious and-free-to-me All American that I was just bestowed. So happy!

Looks great! So satisfying to save home grown food isn’t it?

I cant wait for this. We have a 2yo on the ground and a week old on mama still so our garden is neglected.

Pressure canning is something I recommend to everyone, it’s easy and the effort it takes is rewarded 10x at least. My absolute favorite is canned chicken drumsticks, you pick them up by the bone and the meat just falls off, all the hard tendon stuff just disintegrates and leaves nothing but delicious meat.

I hope I’m not preaching here but pressure canners aren’t just for garden produce

Did you get the manual? If not, contact All American and order one. Has great recipes and tips on canning.

Congratulations on the gift. I love my All American.
