I had this dessert in a Italian Restaurant in Lisbon. They called it “Memory of Sicily”. The bottom part was like a chocolate cookie crumble, the middle had a smooth, not to firm neither too fluffly consistency (between a cheesecake and a tiramissu) and the top was like an orange sauce, with caramelized almonds. I loved it. Is it an invention of their own or is it based on some traditional Italian dessert? (I didn’t managed to ask the staff)

sounds to me like the took a cannolo, rearranged it in a cup and served it with a spoon.
