  1. Adina You can buy filo from the market and turkish fill dough (called yufka) from the middle eastern market.

  2. Yummy! I bake my sigari–i brush them with egg/oil mixture and bake on 375 until brown. Good alternative if you don't wish to fry!

  3. I lived in Izmir for 3  years and remember these burkek fondly.. I am pretty sure they used feta cheese.. is that what you mean by "curd" cheese in this recipe? Of is it cottage cheese? Thank you!

  4. Chi I'm looking for a kebab called a Fistek kebab. It's supposed to have meat and cheese in it and it's wrapped in a thin dough and cooked on the skewer? Any idea?
