I used to try and concoct new rubs every time but these are really good! (PS the SJB shaker actually contains Meathead’s Memphis Dust – my usual go-to base rub) This isn’t an ad, I just love them ♥️

The holy voodoo is the only rub I actually buy. The rest I make myself. But you’re right — all of their products are really good.

Just hard to justify paying $10-$20 for like $1.50 worth of spices.

Texas Sugar is my go to for pork.

Sprinkle some on, let it set for a few minutes and it starts to sweat. Throw some of your favorite rub on using the sweat as a binder. Man that stufd always comes out tasty that way.

  3. Used to like it until I actually looked at the label and realized it’s 75% sugar in every single bottle. Fuck that.

Tasty but not worth it for me.

Get the fajita one!! Makes some bomb ass chicken fajitas on the Blackstone but I also put it on everything, even some fresh fries.

One thing I haven’t found yet is a good recipe for poultry rub – anyone got a good one? I like doing a mess of bone-in thighs or leg quarters

I find most there stuff way to salty, by the time u get enough flavour it’s to salty.

My wife bought me the deez nuts as a gift and I have no clue what to put it on. Not a fan on ribs. I love their other stuff.

Honey bacon is what I use for belly. So good.

Don’t buy too many. Spices and herbs lose flavor and potency over time, especially pre-made store bought (who knows how long it was on the shelf). Buy what you will use in the near future.

Voodoo and hot honey are definitely in my permanent rotation. Not pictured, but the fajita rub is way too salty for me. My local carniceria does a much better job than I can.
