I was charmed by a first visit to Rosé Gosé. It’s next door to JewBoy Burgers on Airport Blvd. in the space that was Sala and Betty and then ATX Grill for a short stint. Bartender said they’ve been open six months. It’s called a neobistro. I’m unfamiliar with that genre but it’s decorated nicely and menu had a lot I’d try.
I wasn’t in the mood for breakfast, it wasn’t dinner menu time yet but they have a weekend chef special ($16) all day, this time it was spinach ravioli with chicken. And it was wonderful! Filling was a spinach ricotta blend, sauce was creamy and not too heavily poured.
I don’t usually eat chicken skin but it was crisped so nicely I ate a lot of it.
Had peach iced tea loaded with lemon & mint and saw the bartender make a lot of brunch-time drinks: coffees and cocktails. Their mimosa is made with a frozen fruit cube instead of fruit juice, I’m curious how that plays out. Do you have to drink it slow to allow for melting? Maybe I’ll try it next time.
Some tips from the bartender:
Happy hour is 3pm-6pm, 50% off drinks and 25% off some food.
Wednesday is $2 oysters. Thursday is pasta night, they usually have two extra dishes.

My wife and I went there for our first time on Friday, it was great! The owner was telling us they opened 5 months ago. All the food was delicious and the cocktails as well. Very reasonably priced too. Would absolutely go back again
Dammit! We were supposed to go Saturday night for our first visit but my car battery died and couldn’t make it. Will visit soon though.
We love this place! It’s like very comforting food and flavors you know but clearly made by a European. Also the wine selection is shockingly affordable.
My experience there wasn’t bad either. My only feedback was the menu seems kinda boring and although they focus on instagrammable appeal. There’s not much to help them stick out. I feel like unfortunately they may not last long in the location. We went for brunch and my entire table got Avocado toast. Minus me who got lasagna. But it reminds me of a better tasting Hanks.
That does look damn good
