I always look forward to Austin Restaurant Weeks. The prix fixe specials get me to try more of the menu at places I’ve been meaning to visit and who doesn’t like getting a cheaper meal than usual.

Last year one of my favorites was **L’Oca d’Oro** so I’ll probably head back there. It’s one of the few nice dinner places with a $40 meal instead of $60.

Here’s the list of restaurants and their menus:

Solid list. Recently tried El Raval and it was a great experience. One of the servers was waking around pouring wine straight into people’s mouths out of something that looked like you should water a plant with it lol

Intero was pretty good last year. This year thinking about cafe no se, loca Doro, sway, or el naranjo. I will say I’m pretty disappointed by the website/planning. Restaurant weeks already started and lots of menus are incomplete or unclear. I’ve been wanting to check out KG BBQ and was excited to see them on the list but their offering is more expensive than their normal menu? Hoping next year is better about that all.

  4. I stopped going. The restaurant week menus are super restricted and often smaller than normal for close to normal pricing. It’s like going to a place on Valentine’s Day.
