  1. margaret mead? like, the cultural anthropologist? you're a special one, chef john. never cease to surprise me.

  2. 5:35 lol until we determine its perfect.. whatever that means. Chefs voice inflection and send of humor is great 👍 not to mention the fabulous culinary skillz

  3. I LOVE Tabouli, and this one looks awesome. Add some kidney beans and corn and you have an amazing meal.

  4. Real extra-virgin olive oil is not golden in color. Stop buying fake shit. Extra-virgin means the first, (earliest), harvest of olives when they are still green and produce less oil. That's why it's usually green tinted in color and has a much stronger flavor profile than regular olive oil. Most shit is just falsely labeled and bottled mixed blends with perfumes added to make it smell stronger in some cases.

  5. As I went to the famous Sahadi’s import shop in Brooklyn, got me some Tabouleh, got home, started eating it and thought, I wonder how chef John would make this, search and boooom! Here we are!

  6. Quinoa😂😂!!!!!

if you say it right it sounds like a word Beanie and Butthead would use of a noise Bruce Lee would make just before he whooped somebody ass😂😂😂

  7. Do Not, smile at anyone right after eating. Ouch! Looks like you have grazing on pine trees.

  8. Margaret Mead of your edible bird seed. LOL

Chef John couldn't leave vegan enough alone and had to add some Andouille. A grumpy Chef John is a fun Chef John. LOL

  9. I wish Chef John would specify which type of mint he uses…. is it spearmint? Fresh mint isn’t available in my grocery store, so
I’ll need to grow it. 😉

  10. Thats not the way to rinse quinoa. You have to put it underwater and then strain it one to three times till there is no white or bubbles.

  11. This looks great! I've some quinoa in the pantry I'm trying to use up and this one is a no-brainer. As a guy who grew up in a town with a healthy Syrian population and GREAT Middle Eastern eateries, the lack of tomato was driving me bonkers. Then you'd mentioned the possible addition of tomato and my blood pressure went back to normal.

Trust me, I'm not criticizing anything, I'm just a lunatic for tomatoes.

    You're wonderful, Chef John.

  12. Looks fantastic as usual Chef John. I make Quinoa Tabouli. I could never quite get it to taste right. Your recipe looks amazing. Thank you!
