I really love a recipe that looks and tastes like something that required a lot of work, but actually comes together quickly and easily. This is one such recipe. Inspired by an early recipe from Milk Street Magazine, I have made a few modifications to reduce the carb count.

  1. Awesome video and recipe. When you "ketofy" a recipe I would be interested in knowing what you had to change. (ie a small amount of flour was used to thicken the sauce, so instead I…) I always learn from you and learning what to swap and why is super useful. I'm also a big long time fan of ATK and Alton Brown and you definitely have the same vibe, explaining the "why" to us.

    Thanks for all you do!

  2. This looks amazing!! But…
Did you intend to salt that twice?
I'm putting it in my Keto Fish playlist regardless.

    Thanks, Steve.
Cheers to you and the wife getting some quality time!

  3. I love the recipe Steve. I’m always in the chase of shrimp new ways of cooking. This going to be in my dinner tomorrow. Thank you. Some side dish recommendations would be great. Say hello to your wife.

  4. Loved the tshirt! Made me laugh! I am going to make this soon with fresh Gulf shrimp! Keep those great recipes coming! Thank your wife for her willingness to get on camera and being your taste tester.👍🏼

  5. Looks delicious and I will make it. But just my 2 cents Steve. You need white dinner plates. You can't see the food on that busy plate! Lol ❤

  6. nice, I have some frozen shrimp I need to cook and this will be Monday nights dinner. Think I will substitue mushrooms for the black olives.

  7. I have made this many yrs ago. So delicious! It was slightly different, much more feta.

  8. I would push up the olive oil up. 2-3 tbsp. It is where it's at. It will make the sauce.

  9. So, I have been looking forward to making this ever since I first watched this video. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Just. . . wow. This was outstanding and SOOOO easy. I did not have fresh oregano, so I just used dry. Also, I THOUGHT I had fennel seed, but I found out I did not after I was prepped to cook. So, I used Anise seed instead which the internets said was an acceptable substitute. I served over a cauliflower couscous that I just made up.

    Keep up the great work!!!

  10. Yay! A date night meal!!! We get to meet Mrs. Serious Keto! 😁 😍 I can see that your kids take after your wife in looks and mannerisms. Love that Wisconsin accent. 😊Never noticed it until moving from the Midwest to CA; now we notice it in family and friends.
The shrimp recipe looks great!😋 Does that portion size fill you up? I think my hubby would need about 3-4 servings! 🍤🍤🍤🍤

  11. I made this last night. Delicious. I had left overs so tonight I had it over zoodles. This will be a regular. Thanks.

  12. While surfing YT for a recipe that calls for all of these ingredients and you are the first one that pops up. One of my fav YT channels. Thanks Steve.
