  1. Looks so gorgeous …yummyyyy πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹Bravissima SarahπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

  2. Try replacing a third of the flour with rolled oats. And for something extra special, stir some chopped walnuts into the crumble mix too. I don't add any sugar to the apples because I like to taste the apples themselves. Other than that, perfect! πŸ™‚

  3. I've never seen a crumble without oats. Is that a British thing then?

  4. Yum Yum Yum I just made this ,its freaking awesome πŸ‘Œ Sarah omg I just put a few dry blue berries in and it turned out amazing πŸ‘, I love your recipes πŸ˜‹ πŸ’™ ❀ πŸ˜€

  5. This election mess is making me crazy. I needed to tune in to Everyday Food and watch an apple dessert being made.

  6. I like my topping better,it is healthier, with rolled oats, less sugar & flour,I also add I extra piece of a special fruit ,gives great taste.

  7. i love you style and your recipe really glad that i discovered you recently!!!❀️️

  8. I just made this. I followed the recipe as written. The only thing I did differently was brush the top with some warmed apricot jam to make it shiny. (It's a scientific fact that shiny food tastes better.) It's a great recipe!!

  9. Love apple crisp, crumble etc. Have made a few already since the apples are in season. Used yellow delicious, it was better than the gala that I always relied on. I stick to a dusting of flour on the apples, cut chunky, and drizzle with honey.
This recipe was beautiful presentation, lots of apples, piled high.
I am really starting to realize I prefer the crisps, over more time consuming pie!
It's the apples that count. Very versatile recipe as well.

  10. That's it. I'm doing it. Doing the oats thing too because I always have with similar toppings, and another suggestion, add sweetened coconut flakes. You don't need to do either. Ridiculously good.

  11. THE BEST TOPPING for any apple crumble or cobbler is finely dicing, mincing peeled apples in the food processor. No extra sugars or anything added. Spread these minced apples over the top before baking. When removed, these minced apples are soft and sweet and THE BEST TOPPING FOR ANY COBBLER, KUTCHEN OR CRUMBLE. NO extra sugars or lemon juice. Just pure minced apples in their juice spread over the top. I'll never use another "crumble" topping.
Being single, the mini cuisinart is the best find I ever made.
Sausage on a bed of minced garlic and sweet onions. Add a can of plum tomatoes, basil, some spices and then a jar of PREGO BASIL AND GARLIC and this will be gone in no time. Join it with pasta and the same marinara sauce and you'll be making this more than you ever thought you would.

  12. What happened to your beautiful red hair, Sarah ? Watched you faitfully for years and subscribed to your little magazine
