Hello all. I canned 10 pints of salsa last night, but forgot to add the cilantro. I added a quarter teaspoon of citric acid per pint. If I put everything back into a pot and add the cilantro, do I need to add more citric acid to each jar when I can them again? Thanks.

    Which recipe did you follow?

    Also for future reference it’s okay to skip cilantro. You don’t have to add herbs – it doesn’t affect the safety to omit it. You can always add fresh cilantro when you open it. I hate cilantro so I just leave it out.
