Chicken has been in the back of the freezer for a little over two weeks and the expiration date is still has a long way to go. Defrosted it to find these white patches?

The chicken just smells like chicken, not even a strong odour, and doesn’t have any bad smell, texture feels normal. I didn’t wrap the bag properly and the cold air might have given these freezer burns?
Are these freezer burns?

It’s only on the skin as well so if it is bad I guess I could just peel it off?

  1. It’s just freezer burn I think. Safe to eat but the te true in those spots might be a little weird.
