  11. I’ve got this stew cooking in the oven right now. The house smells divine can’t wait to dig in! Btw it’s snowing today what a perfect time for some comfort food.

  12. Do I really need to put it in the oven for 2 hours? isn't it abit too long? Just wondering..

  13. Good recipe because of its simplicity.. An alternative would be to to marinate in a mixture of vinegar, paprika, pepper and salt and then saute the meat. Keep aside and in the main pan saute the onions, add the garlic, a little sliced ginger, turmeric (a pinch), paprika or red chilli powder, a pinch of coriander powder, lots of tomato paste, and dried herbs (rosemary and thyme). Add the sauteed meat , the water or stock, stir a while over medium flame. You can then slow cook over flame or finish in an oven. Bachelor's standby especially if you like a spiced meal.

  14. Sarah, I have made this beef stew many many times and I can't tell you how wonderful it is…So easy to make…thank you for the awesome video…I shared it with all my friends…

  15. Thank you for the delicious recipe for beef stew I’ve been making mine for many years and I’ve never had the stew made like yours so I’m going to give it a try and see how my family likes your version.I’ve always used my home made beef stock that I made from all of the bones that I saved and adding a mirepoix along with spices for additional flavor.
