I was steam the sweetcorn and it was all yellow before I started the cooking process. After 11 minutes in the steamer I opened the lid and saw the sweet turned brown in some areas?!

Is this safe to eat? I was planning to give it to my daughter who a toddler.

I think I would skip eating it. I have never seen corn do that after cooking it. Though I don’t eat corn on the cob all the time, but have eaten it all my life

  2. That happened to me too a while ago and I’m still here lol

  3. Just pluck those kernels out, or cut the good ones off, I’m sure it’ll be fine.

    One bite should tell you.

You overcooked it a bit but the yellow kernels are still good to eat
