I ate this dish some time ago at a restaurant in Italy but I don’t live nearby sadly 🙁
The name on the menu is bulpan bulgogi (불판불고기) and the description just says “grilled beef in soy sauce”. The name alone on Google directs me to the specific pot used instead of recipes. At the restaurant, instead of bringing out a grill as usual, they let you cook your raw meat and vegetables in this sort of sweet broth (too sweet to be drank like a soup ) and it came out incredibly flavourful, and then you could wrap it in ssam with some ssamjang. So good! If you know what I’m talking about could you please direct me to a good recipe?

bulpan just means like grill? bulgogi is just the bbq beef. was it a hot pot instead of grill? sweet soy broth, reminds me of sukiyaki possibly…

for a bulgogi recipe, perhaps you can look at Maangchi’s https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/bulgogi

The sweetness prob came out from beef marinade. Looks like similar to bulgogi jeongal.

Put bulgogi, tofu, japchae noodles and assorted veg in a pan, then add water or broth to preference. Bring to simmer. You can add mandu too!
