  2. I just made this chicken with different beans using my only cast iron skillet. I also wanted tortillas so I needed the skillet clean. I also just finished watching the pan sauce video. I put a little butter, some salsa (getting as much liquid as possible from the jar), and finished it with some hot sauce to get some heat in there. It came out surprisingly well and made a good street taco type sauce.

  3. I just did the beans from this with red kidney beans (all I had in my cupboard) and it was absolutely delish, usually I just simmer and drain them and add them to my Mexican food plain but damn that was so quick and not much more effort for them to taste Hella good, tysm!

  6. I know u said u dislike the rice in burritos but try to make a rice salsa!
    I dice a beefsteak tomato mix it with pickled jalapenos and lemon juice. Let the rice cool down and mix the dry rice with it. It's suuper fresh and fits amazingly with Jogurt and a paprika marinaded meat.

  7. Cut from the end: Ethan then casually mops up the spilled onion juice from the butcher block with the end of that burrito… inhales a huge bite, rolls his eyes and sighs…

  8. One key tip is to get the biggest tortilla you can find. The shitty little 10" ones they sell at most grocery stores are worthless for burritos. Go to a Hispanic store and get the biggest ones they have, 12" minimum, 14+ if you can find them.

  9. This marinade recipe is delicious! I thought Nandos was the height of chicken, now I'm (inwardly) one of those "I could make this at home" people 😅

  10. Tbh that burrito doesnt look good but you can tell that this guy likes to make his burritos in under 20 minutes cus tbh I could probably make it taste better and in half the time on the spot pulling the recipe out of my ass cus god damn this looks boring af

  11. I'm going to push back on rice being a boring filler and say a rice seasoned with a sofrito base + some sazon seasoning really ties the burrito together. The rice also soaks up all the tasty fat and juices.

  13. I love rice. I think the place most people mess up is they put in unseasoned plain white rice. Gotta step it up and use something with more flavor like a basic cilantro lime rice for imstance.
