I know the Santa Monica pier is often perceived as touristy(as it should) but The Albright on the pier is one of my favorite spots to get seafood in Santa Monica as a person who lives here. Prices are surprisingly good and it’s walk up & order service and go grab your food when the buzzer beeps and they don’t allow the option to tip (wish is honestly refreshing).
We got half dozen of their “small & sweet” oysters ($16) and their moules & frites (17.5) and a large IPA ($15, that’s where they get you) and it’s always solid. fun place to sit & people watch and enjoy some quality seafood. Always looking forward to my next time back.
