They took the wooden sphere top of Cholula and polygonized it. That must be worth $30.

I don’t get the hype over that sauce. Truffle takes over every dish it touches. I was gifted a bottle and found no practical use for it. I gave it to a friend.

It’s going to take a trip to TJ MaXX after this because no one wants that.

That shit is gross. I saw the price of it and stole it out of spite and I still don’t eat it

So I’ve had the regular Truff Hotter (I like it) and I’ve tried the Hot White one (though I spent $11 on one of the tiny bottles).
If you gave me those two sauces side-by-side I would only know the difference because the Hotter sauce is, well, the hotter one.

I like truffles a lot, and I’m in a position where I really don’t mind paying a little extra for a gourmet product. But you have to make it taste good. This tastes terrible and overwhelmingly like artificial truffle (though I think they do use some real truffle), it’s just god awful, I wanted to like it and there’s just *nothing* it works with
Why spend 15x more on a sauce that tastes objectively worse than basic ol red Yucateca. Just don’t grasp how this one got off the ground

I have get to find anyone who actually likes this sauce. I ended up with an entire case of the little ones from a family member who worked for Wegmans’ corporate office and have no idea what to do with it.

I actually like this sauce, but only on chicken. It’s not bad! I’ve never seen it at that price though. I found the big one for like $14 in my area.

refreshing to see more hate for this stuff after all their astroturf marketing.
FWIW – I like mushrooms and real truffle. I liked this stuff well enough on eggs and sausage, and copied it pretty closely with agave syrup, truffle oil (artificial) and tapatio. After my clone batch ran out, I started using yellowbird ghost on my breakfast and haven’t bothered making more.

I remember when Taco Bell was promoting the hell out of this sauce being available on certain items. Bought a burrito that came with it and had eaten less than half before I gave up and ultimately threw it in the trash. One of the worst tasting sauces I think I have ever had.

Do not like truff. It’s just disgusting and overpowers any dish.
