How to make delicious and tasty traditional Nigerian Corn sticks ( Kokor… by Navinas-kitchen 1 Comment Navinas-kitchen 2 years ago Recipe……..​1 cup white corn flour1 cup yellow corn flour3 tablespoons sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 tablespoon hot pepperVanilla extractAbout 1 1/2 Hot water for mixingVegetable oil for deep fry.​Preparation……….​Mix all dry ingredients together e.g white and yellow corn flour, sugar, salt and pepper, mix well and set aside.​In a clean pot pour hot water and add vanilla extract, stir until dissolve then add all mix dried ingredients.​And stir continuously, knead against the pot, gradually add hot water and mix, make sur is not too soft or hard,​Now add about 1/4 cup hot water and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat, after this time, open and mix very well.​After mixing, spread it inside the pot, cover and cook in low heat for 5 minutes.​Scoop into a deep bowl and cover it, let it cool for 5 minutes.​Now take little piece and roll it forward and backward, make sure is not too thinning and long.​Lay on a flat plate or surface, repeat process until you’re done.Fry in a medium hot oil until they are golden brown, scoop into a kitchen paper to absorb excess oil,Can be eaten alone or use ketchup or mayonnaise as a dip for this snack.serve and enjoy.Write A CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
