Picked this up yesterday, has anyone tried it? I was thinking about slow cooking it but I’m not sure how to go about doing so or if it would turn out good made that way. There’s only directions for grilling or roasting.

I wouldn’t want to slow cook beef fillet, it’ll likely go tough and dry after more than an hour of cooking.
Definitely grill if you can.

I seared mine in cast iron and finished it off in a hot oven.

I fail to understand the point of “solution” being added to all our meat.
Can’t brown some meats—they’re bleeding out so much ‘solution’ so it’s more of a simmer.
It’s disgusting and why I don’t buy supermarket meat anymore.

this is great in the oven or sous vide… course I don’t have a grill. I toss these in the water bath every time they go on sale.
