And it did not disappoint. Also amusing to see people get parking tickets by the sidewalk — Dining al Fresco estilo DTLA.

We got Cabeza, Costillas, and Tripa tacos.
But the surprisingly star of the show is theit Chicken Chivichangas. It was so flavourful and juicy — I was pleasantly surprised.

The tripas were so crispyyyyy just how I liked it. Sandia Jugos was awesome.

The chivi is totally the surprising star. The subtle char across the meal is so craveable

Love this place. I heard there’s a secret challenge, if you eat 12 chivis in a single sitting they dub you the “Chivi Champion” and you get the food for free, a t shirt and your picture on the wall. Thinking about trying it!

Ok good to know because I’ve always skipped trying whenever I’m in LA. I’ll be there in a couple of weeks. Thanks

As a norteña myself, this place makes me sad, the fillings are good but the tortillas are always crudas 🙁 rubbery, raw tortillas. They need like 30 seconds more on each side to cook. This is constant problem in both locations. I gave up on them.

  5. Chivi is the move! And coincidentally was there around the same time as you assuming this post was made at the time.
