Obviously a mouse has gotten into my garage, but I didn’t think they could pry open a sealed jar. So did a mouse get this open themselves or did my seal go bad and it just took advantage? I’ve never seen anything like this before.

I need to use a church key to open my jars. Your seal probably failed and the mouse took advantage.
Unless your garage is climate controlled I would not store your canned goods in there.

Your mouse has raccoon hands.

It’s possible the lid came loose from corrosion or food in the seal, etc. and the mice just knocked it off. Mouse urine will corrode lids fairly quickly.
