Traveled to Vietnam this year and have yet to find a place here that makes a proper traditional Vietnamese egg coffee. I’ve seen some that have is premade, but not a from-scratch spot. Does anyone know of one?

Saw it on the menu of Hanoi House in the EV. Haven’t tried!

Vietnamese coffee single handily carried me through daily hangovers all June when I was visiting. God bless it

I haven’t been to Larry’s Cà Phê in East Williamsburg yet, but I saw in an article in Greenpointers that they are serving Cà Phê Muối, which is currently the rage in Vietnam. It was invented in Huế 10 years ago, but is all over Hà Nội and even in the far north city of Cao Bằng. (Source: I’m in Cao Bằng right now and have one every day I’m able).

If you like Cà Phê Trứng, you might like this too. The salt (muối) really brings out the sweetness in the cream, and if you like salted caramel, you’ll probably love it.

I can’t find their menu online but they may have Cà Phê Trứng also.
