First post here. Anyways, I used to love eating spicy food. Buldak Ramen with added dried Carolina Reapers was one of my favorites. Not that impressive, I know. But the Nitro Gummy Bear made me unable to do it anymore. About 30 minutes after the following video, I was literally on the floor in the fetal position with sharp stomach pain. My dog was down there using his head to try to lift my head off the floor. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. And after the fact my stomach is very sensitive to spicy shit now. I never thought something so small could cause so much pain.

Stuff like that is not food, not enjoyable in any sense, and I encourage everyone not to eat them. That goes for the One Chip, too. I’ve eaten it, there’s just not anything good about it.
My wife did the Nitro Gummy bear this last weekend. She doesn’t usually eat spicy food. She said it was hot but Dave’s insanity is hotter. She did have some mild stomach discomfort for a couple days but that’s it.
I always was under the impression that the reason I liked hot sauces was I enjoyed how the heat and taste of the sauce interacted with the food I was putting it on. I also felt the better a sauce tasted with food the more heat I could take, like there were multiple variables at play that contributed to the experience. But I guess I am doing this wrong.
Christ. Why is everyone downvoting me today? What did I do to piss everyone off?

Anything with capsaicin extract is going to make you hate life. It’s so consistent these reports get boring.
I ate something and I’m in agony! Did it contain extract? Yep…that’ll happen
I’m surprised no one has commented on the interesting thing here- You haven’t been able to stomach spicy food since? Weird, I would have thought it would have upped your tolerance, if anything.
You may have to heal your stomach. With ulcers and GERD damage they would suggest an acid reducer pill ie. ranitidine, omeprazole, etc. They should be available over the counter. See a Dr if it becomes worse or doesn’t clear up. Stomach damage, if not looked after, can cause big problems in the future.
Dang that sicks. I did the one chip and it was hot for five minutes and burned my guts for twenty. And that was it. It didn’t even burn my butthole.
When food becomes a “sport”.
The Paqui one chip challenge did that to me. I was in the fetal position and in the most pain I’ve ever felt. My girlfriend was googling whether or not I needed to go to the hospital. Capsaicin cramps are something to fear.
Same thing happened to me. I had to lay off spicy food for a long while (it was very hard) and things are good again
Ate one of these a few months back. It gave me a good burn for about 10 minutes.
