The power is back on at the Hong Kong Supermarket and P Thai’s got to cooking again today. I had the Khao Man Gai combo ($18) and liked the fried chicken a lot better. Small menu, classic preparation, glad I tried it. The store was really quiet, not much of a dinner crowd, but they only stay open until they run out of chicken for the day so I’m glad there wasn’t a rush before I got there.

Man, I’ll never get used to 2023 prices. $18 for a plate of chicken rice is nuts.
