    Hmmm…I made this today after I saw the video…The sauce was flavorful, but it didn't make anywhere near the amount she is showing. The chicken also did not get very tender……I did cook it as long as she said and did it on high. Don't know what happened, but I was disappointed…..The sauce did taste good, tho…If I made it again, I would not use chicken breast as it tends to be dry…I'd probably use thigh meat.

    Holy cow, this looks fantastic!! I could see even doing this with a rotisserie chicken as, though it won't have all the fond from searing the thighs, you could speed the crock pot up a couple of hours. I am with your husband; I like a sticky rice the most, rather than having individual pieces of rice to gather on your fork. I keep Arborio in the pantry for risotto but you can make it like you cook regular rice and it will be sticky bc it is high starch. If you don't have access to Asian sticky rice.

    My goodness, Catherine! I made this for dinner tonight, and it was so delicious! I had a package of boneless/skinless chicken
    and it turned out great. However, I think the next time I make it, I will use bone in chicken since that will give it more flavor.
    It sure is a hubby pleaser !

    Good morning Catherine. I’m worried that there is not enough liquid. That just happened with another recipe. I’m looking forward to tonight’s dinner. It’s funny my husband said the same thing you said..it smells so good..too bad we have to wait 4 hrs.
