I bought a bag of this white corn posole, and i was planning on cooking it in my slowcooker for about 7-8 hours on low. The website says to soak the hominy for 8 hours before cooking it on the stove, but do i need to do that if it is slowcooked? I just don’t want to mess up my soup 🙁 I’ve only ever used canned hominy before, but it’s so hard to fond some where i live.
