This meal turned out so good, it was amazing! lt was so easy, that even l could make it.

Ingredients

2 tbsp oil
1kg diced beef
200g button mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tbsp plain flour
500ml Campbell’s Real Beef Stock
1 Large Onion, preferably Roasted or Fried
2tbsp tomato paste
2 large carrots, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 cm pieces

Method

Heat oil in a large saucepan over hight heat, add meat in batches and cook each batch for 4-5 minutes or until browned on all sides. Remove meat, reserving pan juices in pan.
Add mushrooms and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Return beef to pan, reduce heat to low, add flour and cook for 2 minutes.
Combine stock and tomato paste then gradually add to pan, stirring until mixture is smooth. Stir constantly over medium high heat for 2 minutes, bring to the boil until mixture boils and starts to thicken.
Reduce heat, add carrots and onion, cover and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meat and carrots are tender. Serve with your favourite mash.

  2. what i would add is good amount of salt and pepper tomato purree paprika mixed herpes plenty garlic roasted sweet carlic and bit of chilli powder fry all those together with onion and carrot and u will make a good tasty gravey and roast in the oven covered for 60 mins ..thts how us irish do it !lol
