




I’m just making sure I did this right. (Apple butter that I made) I don’t have a pressure canner so I used a stockpot with boiling water. Followed the directions that the national center for home food preventions stated but want to make sure nothing else is wrong. Lmk if I need to just throw away the whole batch T-T

it looks okay and you followed a tested recipe. what makes you think you need to throw them away?
If you followed the recipe, you did just fine. 😊 I was really nervous about doing something wrong the first time I canned, too.
Unless you notice a seal failure, keep it on the shelf for a while until you’re ready to eat it. If it looks or smells weird, you can toss it then.
