I did not know we cook spaghetti 🍝
Thanks Ken I love cooking Greek food as I learned it from my Greek friends. I wish we had some of the things here like mizithra cheese or the phyllo dough but I make do. The Mexican friends love the different countries food I make. I personally love Greek. Thanks
I'm Italian but you put that plate of spaghetti in front of me anytime. Going to show this recipe to my wife. Thx for sharing
I have tried all your recipes. I love it. thanks keep them coming.
Next time I make spaghetti sauce, I will try adding cinnamon! I usually use cumin.
This looks delicious! 👍🏻
Thank you so much for the recipe, can't wait to try it out! I've been looking for a great Greek cooking channel for the longest time I'm glad I've finally found one
HI KEN;
EFHOMEH NA ENEH OLLA KALA:).
MAKARONIA MEH KIMA IS ONE OF OUR GREEK FAVORITES AND WE LOVE IT TOO.
EFHARESTO POLIE:).
I loved growing up to this!
Loved the recipe. This is what you call "Mediterranean" diet. (Tomato for your fruit, beef for your protein, onions for veggies and olive oil for your fat). The pasta doesn't count! I make it as well but add cinnamon and bay leaf if I have it at the time. You mentioned the smuggling of cheese. A few years ago, returning to Montreal from Greece, they asked if I brought back any food items. I told them no because someone told me I couldn't. Well , to my surprise, they told me I could bring cheese. In fact they even told me it's mucher cheaper there lol!! Check with customs, maybe you can bring more and freeze it.( I don't know about soft cheese)
Thank you so much now I know the secret to Greek meat sauce 💞😘👍🏼 I'm so excited to try this 🇬🇷
Ken I'm Italian and I'm with you I like my pasta well cooked 😉
What are these cloves you speak of?
I make my kima almost the same way. Along with the cloves, I’ll add a pinch of all spice, a couple bay leaves, and some thribi (from Kalimnos). 👍🏼
Malaka put a block of feta on top? Forget about the other cheese

Just made this at home to tide us over until I make your pastitsio recipe. I tossed the spaghetti in cheese and sauce before putting some on top and then grating more cheese over it. So friggin delicious.

I am a little bit afraid of the cinnamon…is the taste very dominant or don't you taste it out of the other ingredients?
Lmao..I smuggle it in! Channeling the inner Yiayia in ya are ya now? Lol

I’m new first time viewing. I’m going to subscribe, and also do you make Greek meatballs?
being Italian, I love my sauce, but I love going to a Greek restaurant and having their version of meat sauce too.
Hi Ken! First off, thanks so much for this amazing recipe. I don't to Italian bolognaise sauce anymore as I much prefer this Greek version. One thing I struggle to get right is the salt and the pepper. Can you give me the amounts you've used in this recipe so that I can try that as a baseline? The salt and pepper are the only ingredients in the recipe that you haven't supplied amounts to, and I totally understand why. However, I'm an amateur cook and I've been getting it wrong. Thanks Ken!
There is something so comforting with a clove/cinnamon style red sauce. I have Greek pasta that is begging for this. Thanks for the inspiration Ken!
Great video, I want to eat this so much.i bet this is awesome on a Hotdog 🌭. I will be making this .
I've never understood why al dente pasta is the way to go. I never make it that way.
Hey Ken, do you know of the origins/history of this sauce back in Greece? It's interesting how this is similar to "Greek Chili" that was used by Greek immigrants as toppings for chili dogs in the US and fat boy burgers in Canada.
God called Kiriakos “ Ken” Panagopoulos peacefully on January 5, 2022 at the age of 53! May he RIP! 😢🥺🙏
