Hey guys! Today we prepared a typical lebanese vegetarian lentil and rice dish topped with fried onion slices called Mdardara with 2 sides: Tomato salad and greek yogurt.

For this recipe, you will need (4 servings):
1 ½ cup of washed lentils (preferably brown lentils)
1 cup of washed long grain rice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried mint
1 tbsp cumin
salt
8 small grape tomatoes
1 garlic clove
1/2 lemons
Dried bay leaf and dried thyme (in branches)
1 small cucumber
2 cups greek yogurt
1 yellow onion
1 red onion
