We’ve entertain a few guests lately and made chicken wings a several times. I saved up the wing tips and some other chicken scraps and made broth over the past two days. I simmered the broth for about 18 hrs.

Seems like an excessive amount of time for chicken bones. Are you happy with the outcome?

Great color! I look forward to this time of year because I feel justified in making soups with my home canned broth. That and Thanksgiving is coming up and I love making stock with turkey bones!

I love when people use up all of their food and find ways to make it work. Congrats, this is one of the things I love about this sub

I keep all chicken bones and scraps in the freezer until I’m ready to make bone broth. So fine.

Lovely, scrumptious looking broth– a medicinal wonder when you don’t feel up to par. Congrats!
