This is my new risotto recipe which was born out of my last two risotto experiences in Italy, one of them was a good experience, the other one was a bad one, but those two experience have now given birth to my new favorite risotto, Risotto with Sausage and peppers.

  1. Sausage, butternut squash, and fresh sage risotto really good! do the butternut in a broiler til perfectly brown stir that in 10 minutes til done with the fresh sage. almost everything else is the same except the pepper sauce. That will be a must try! Awesome looking eats!

  2. Italian 'food' is cheese and tomato on toast…
    Carb. Cheese. Tomato 🍅
    Blah!
Oh, sorry you can do garlic and oregano!

  3. Risotto flat on a plate is the ultimate rookie move. You’ve done this so many times. But you let it get cold and gummy. Italian that doesn’t actually understand Italian food. 🎉😢😅😮

  4. Man, do I like you soooo very much, because: 1) you well know how to push back the limits of French Cuisine’s basics and teach your audience how to get the better reactions/skills//results, and 2) you don’t overwhelm my view with vibrant and omnipresent effing tattoos.

  5. Looks delicious! I'd just be careful adding the "salt to taste" to the sauce, then the hefty amount of cheese. Parmigiano-Reggiano & Pecorino-Ramano are HIGHLY salty cheeses. I'd go with half the salt you'd normally add when using these cheeses.

  6. I'm sorry to say, but for someone who claims to have an Italian background, your pronunciation for Italian dishes and ingredients is quite poor and may require some practice.

  7. Loving your recipes. Just subscribed. I’ve never made risotto before. I’m gonna try this one 1st, my Wifeager recently told me how much she likes risotto. 🥘♥️

  8. Someone get this guy a show!!! No one will ever replace Anthony Bourdain, but I get the same vibes when I watch this channel. 🫶

  9. Love your work, got a few of your vids saved for cooking on future occasions. Cleaning this up for YouTube. brotha.. is this not gumbo and cheese

  10. For sure tasty, but way too much fat used. I will never understand cooking very fatty sausages in a litre of olive oil.. they'll release their own fat ffs XD

  11. I made this last night and it was a huge hit! excellent recipe but made a few tweaks to my tastes but everyone LOVED the risotto and its a nice change to our 3 typical styles of risotto flavor profiles. TY again Steve!

  12. An amazing cook. I wish I had the time to try to cook something like this, but I just don't. Allot of love in that food.💪
