Looks like the crap boxes that I get from people at Christmas. Let us know if they’re good though!

Variations of that box have been around for a while now. You’ll find most of the sauces have the same base flavors. Nearly all are vinegar forward. It’s a nice gift for casual hot sauce enthusiasts.
joffff
I’d leave it at Costco
rLeJerk
I’ve never been happy with those generic variety boxes.
Magician_322
I don’t tryst the mainstream ones made for retail like this. Now if a hotsaucd store/company made one I’d give it a go
Ok_Presentation_5329
Gonna be a no from me, dog.
Pretty terrible sauces.

Someone got it for me. I’ve tried about half.
None of the “global” flavors have anything to do with the regions they supposedly represent (with the exception of Japan having miso and Mexico being jalapeno). But generally no local peppers or spices connected to the region. It’s mostly a bunch of aged habanero sauces with slightly different colors or consistencies.
They’re not gross if you like a slightly tangy aged pepper style. Perfectly serviceable as basic no-frills sauces. But they’re not interesting, not super varied, and definitely not what they’re advertised to be.

Sister in law bought that same box for my parents. I tried a few. Not good.
They’re boring, not spicy, slight variations on the same boring flavor.
If you’re giving as a gift for someone who likes hot sauces you can just Google “best hot sauces” or something and put together a basket with a few of those. Much better gift IMO.

I went through about half of one of those boxes. They’re ok, nothing to write home about, but they aren’t tabasco-bad.
cjurey21
It’s not good
Edit: I’ve had it for a while and only use it for the sake of not wasting
Plastic_Primary_4279
Someone just posted about this in r/hotsauce I think. They all taste the same, with very subtle variations. Avoid these like the plague.
Better off getting a variety pack from a specific (actual) hot sauce brand.
Maskedlemon1979
As someone who gets bullshit like this every Xmas because people are stupid, don’t bother with these.
Yes I like hot sauce. But I don’t like tiny bottles of random sauces I or anyone else has never heard of before.
It’s a terrible gift that screams out I don’t give a single solitary fuck about you.
The_Fjordster
I was gifted a similar box from Costco last year. It was…not good. (I was thankful for the gift, but they were all very uninspired.) They tasted like they all had the same vinegar base sauce and they maybe tweaked one extra flavor in each. I would say, take that $18.99 you were willing to spend on this box and order a single good bottle from some other company.
SirPhobos1
When the whole set costs as much as one bottle of good hot sauce, you know it’s going to be terrible.
stompANDsmash
These boxes are so hit or miss. My mom gifts one to us every Christmas and most of them get discarded.
GaysGoneNanners
Got myself something just like this once, don’t bother. Go to a specialty store and get something that’s actually got spice and isn’t just salty vinegar imo
vtfvmr
I bought them a year ago. They aren’t bad, but it is not that spicy. I prefer Tabasco over all of them
idrawinmargins
I’ve gotten something like before. Tried each sauce them emptied the bottles to use for hot sauce I make myself. Those sauces mostly taste exactly the same and pack as much a punch as a tic-tac.

I was given one of those boxes with like 30 different mini bottles of sauces for Christmas years back. I used each one up on Saturday morning eggs over the span of that following year. All of them had mild flavor and little heat. But, at least the gift got used.

This one is better than years past. I’m not typically a fan of these, but looking at the ingredients compared to previous years and tasting some of them these are higher quality. There is not much variety and they’re pretty basic, a lot of them are just slightly different spice levels or hints of flavor. Still, they’re not bad.
Mugwartz
I got it, its not bad but not really good either. Would recommend just buying other sauces instead.
ArachnidMother7211
Trash all tasted the same I had a homie get one for Xmas
bbien12
I bought it, not worth it at all. Tastes like flavored vinegar, no spice at all
Admirable_Cycle2
Nah that’s just flavoured vinegar
hugefanoftrash
It’s ok if you want novelty flavor. I still have a few bottles left from last Christmas. Not worth the cash, really.
mtrash
Dang ok ok. Thanks for all the input, I left it at costco!

This is what happens with those:
You get it home, and have to check out all the varieties. So you’ll taste them all. You’ll find one or two that are “pretty good”
Then you’ll try those sauces by themselves later, and be disappointed. Why? Because they weren’t “pretty good” they were just slightly less awful in comparison to all the other stuff.

That looks great! Finders keepers

Probably best to avoid, in all honesty.
