2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
⅔ cup granulated sugar
⅛ teaspoon fine sea salt
6 large egg yolks
Added Ollallieberries berries in one and banana in the other.
For the Ollallieberry variation I defrosted 1c of berries I had in my freezer and pressed through a sieve to remove seed. Added /4 c of sugar.
I only used 570 ml as recommended since my machine is only 1 quart. Had about a. Up of base left. Puréed one banana, added about 1 tsp of fresh lemon juice, and 1T of sugar. Mixed it together and added to the base.
I am never buying store-bought ice cream again! These were so good.
