This Classic Tuna Melt Sandwich is comprised of a tuna salad, whole wheat bread, and cheese. Cooked on a pan until the cheese melts, it’s like grilled cheese sandwich but with tuna salad.

Ingredients:
For the tuna salad:
-2 small canned tuna (155grams each)
-1 medium onion (red or white)
-1/2 of a medium carrot
-1 celery stalk
-50 grams pickle relish
-zest from 1 lemon
-juice from 1/2 lemon
-110mL mayonnaise
-salt and pepper to taste
-a pinch or two of sugar

For the sandwich:
-whole wheat bread slices
-butter (at room temperature for easy spreading)
-cheese (any type of melting cheese will do)
