Chef John, I don't mean to completely bastardize this recipe, but as someone who doesn't like clams, what about subing canned chicken in?
this was wonderful last night, i had it with club crackers and pita chips, unfortunately i cant have spicy foods at the time , so i took out the jalapeño and replaced it with green sweet peppers, then added some green capers. thanx bro

@sammii7891 … What is your problem ? There are only 147 recipes. Obviously you have never looked through 3 pages of ebay items. Its simple to do. And anyway, if these recipes were sorted, you would perhaps miss a good recipe just because it wasn't in a "category" that you were interested in. I feel that over 300 recipes should be sorted. Maybe you are slower than the rest of us. IDK. But I will give you the benefit of a doubt that you are just picky.

I was just a new subscriber that was overwhelmed with the options and wanted to make some of the dishes myself, sorry about that? I made this recently – I added light mayo to the recipe which made it a creamier texture. This stuff is awesome and I'm not even a clam lover!!! you gotta try it
