Steak GYROS Recipe:

1 pound skirt steak from Sprouts
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp dried oregano or 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
black pepper
juice of 1/2 lemon

In a baking pan, add steak and drizzle olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, kosher salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Spread marinade to cover steak and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Once ready, grill on each side for 4 minutes for medium rare; 5-6 minutes on each side for medium.

Tzaziki sauce:
1/2 cup thinly sliced english cucumbers
1 cups cold plain Greek yogurt
3 cloves minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped dill,
Juice of ½ squeezed lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste

In a bowl, add paper-thin cucumber slices then drizzle salt. Mix well and add lemon juice, dill, garlic, and yogurt. Mix well and set aside for at least 15 minutes.

Hummus
1 15.5 oz can of garbanzo beans
1 teaspoon cumin
¼ cup Sprouts brand tahini
4 cloves garlic, sauteed and browned
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ cup – ½ cup water depending on how thin/thick you prefer

In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth.

I used mint because that’s when I had And I live in Israel so I just bought the hummus, well because it’s Israel and delicious hummus is all over!! thank you for this delicious recipe and you’re very fun and encouraging to watch amd learn how to be a better cook!,!   3. Funny, I had this idea of a steak gyro and figured I would see if anyone els has done it. And I was thinking flank steak for it too. Skirt is great too as long as you get the outside skirt, inside one not as good. This is a great balanced recipe! Also I love you used naan I always make fresh naan for gyros.
