Instructions

1) Whisk together your sauce. Add your Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Olive Oil, Creole Mustard (Dijon or regular mustard will work), and Garlic.

2) Now in a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat add your butter and once melted add the sauce and whisk together and let the sauce reduce to the desired consistency.

3) Add a pinch of salt and pepper and add to your sauce in the skillet. Cook in the sauce for 2 – 3 minutes on medium high heat and flip until shrimp is opaque.

Serve over rice and or eat as a appetizer.

  1. AB, I went on line and ordered Sweet Smokie Joe creole kick from Amazon and I’ve had it about a month and not used it until this last Friday. I do a fish fry for the family 3-4 times a summer and it’s a lot of fun. But this last Friday I changed few things up and cooked up some of this shrimp for the crowd and it was a huge success and everyone wanted to know where I got this recipe. I told them and I also told them that the secret ingredient that they all was trying to figure out was the Creole Kick and no way they are getting the same flavor with other creole seasonings.   3. Cajun is more backwoods. Historically they didn't use a lot of tomato or butter in their food as these were luxury ingredients.
