Recipe:

Sauce
2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil
2 teaspoon Garlic (minced)
¼ cup Onion (minced)
1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
1 teaspoon Dried Italian herb ( or dried Oregano)
1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoon Fresh basil (chopped)
1 cup water or broth

Meatballs
3 slices white bread, crusts removed, diced
2/3 cup cold water
2 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1 large egg
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 Tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp sea salt (I used Lawrys)
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil, to cook

  2. I made the meatballs and buns tonight, I'll make the sauce and have these tomorrow. Do you have any idea what would be a good substitute for the parm? I can't eat dairy and use daiya shreds for the mozzarella but cant think a parm substitute.

  3. How have you been after gallbladder remove ? I just had mine removed about 1week ago. Your meals look wonderful!!
