  1. Looks good Cowboy! Wish I could try it but I'm too old and disabled to stand that long at the stove. Sometimes though, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention! I live out of town but I get Meals on Wheels (Food and Friends). The meals are too big for me to eat in one day so I save the vegetables in the freezer. I buy green and yellow onions, bean sprouts in a bag, celery and pork sirloin chops from my local market who brings my groceries to my truck since I can't walk through the store. So, here's my version of fried rice;

    Cook Thai jasmine rice, using chicken bouillon in the water, refrigerate. Cut celery and onion, refrigerate. Next day, cook a fat sirloin chop, cut in small pieces, refrigerate. Next day, stir fry onion and celery then add crushed garlic. Stop to rest. Heat pan, add rice, stir fry. Stop again. Soft scramble egg, add to rice with pork, heat through. Add thawed peas, carrots, green beans, corn, whatever veggies I've saved and bean sprouts. Stop again. Add hoisin and oyster sauce, stir to combine. Drizzle a bit of sesame oil, plate, sprinkle with green onions, hobble 3 steps to the table and eat, yum! Lasts me 3 days…
    PS, sometimes I don't care for a delivered meal so I pass it on to a neighbor that I know is struggling. I pay for the meals so I think it's OK to give some out. If I ever get back on my feet, I'll give your version a try, thanks!

  2. Oh, don’t forget the meat; beef, chicken, pork, venison, rattler or whatever 🤤🍖🍗

  3. Kent Rollins is so kind and very educated on culinary foods. He can literally cook anything you can think of frontier style and it's inspired me to make my own when I'm on the trail.

  5. There's something very wholesome about this man. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the video, and the fried rice looks very tasty!

  6. I think that fried rice in the video looks great to eat . I also think that the process of making fried rice and the end product of the fried rice in the video are good in quality ,but doesn't suit the basic qualification for a fried rice dish. Try not to mix sauce. Try to use wok and gas stove to cook fried rice. Try to use canola oil(vegetable oil) instead of butter. Try to use cut board to cut vegetables ,spring onions, and garlic. Add salt msg, and soy sauce during cooking time. Important reminder for cooking, try to find the bathroom to wash your hand to clean the dirt by using liquid soap.

  7. That looks absolutely delicious. I bet that tasted so amazing. I was also wondering what if you did fry up some bacon and made like little bacon crumbles and put it on the top and then maybe put a little shredded cheese on top I know it would change the Dynamics at what you were trying to do but I bet that would be good and then maybe throw a little meat on top of it as well and then put it in a hot tortilla cooked on a griddle or a cast-iron and have yourself one heck of a big tortilla that would fill you up all you'd have to need is one. Thank you for showing me this I'm going to go camping this weekend and I hope everybody wants to try the fried rice and if they don't then someday I will try this in my cast-iron thank you so much for everything you do you make great videos and delicious food.

  8. Rice also versatile I used to just add a can of cream of chicken mushroom soup, w sauce and little else even and it'd be real good as a SIMPLE dish even
