Sage brown butter sauce is an easy, classic preparation for pasta. It goes great with stuffed pastas like ravioli or tortellini filled with fall vegetables like squash or pumpkin. It’s also really easy to make, with just a few ingredients and less than 15 minutes of cook time.

This looks delicious! Great work.
Thank goodness I watched your video. Had only so far recipes and none mentioned it could take 20 minutes to gte butter to turn brown.
@Povidius…well, it may not take that long to brown butter, and it certainly doesn't have to. The time depends on the level of heat. Want to go faster, crank it up. When I'm infusing the flavor of herbs, I like to go slower.
Dude you're high as hell
I agree… "15 or 20" min. ???? You will end up with soot… soot I tell you, soot.

this looks amazing!!
Thanks. LEt me know how it goes.
… I need this in my life right now.. ~.~
Dave, what sides do you suggest to suggest to serve with this dish?
15- 20 minutes is too long. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes. Your sauce is too dark which is actually more to the burnt side than the delicious nutty flavor side.
Looks good!
I love browned butter, I put this sauce on lobster ravioli, yummmmm
Fuck what er'one else says, I just made mine on low/medium-low heat and it took all of 15 minutes, maybe more, and was barely browned. I burnt the previous batch by cooking on medium heat for 5ish minutes so I went low and slow this time. Thanks for the instruction, I'll try the sage and shallots next time
Can you use powered sage instead?
