Jon Favreau rolled into goop the other day with 1) his professional plancha grill and 2) some very strong opinions about how to make the perfect Cubano (which he mastered in his 2014 film Chef with help from Roy Choi). Throwing in ghee, Chinese mustard, and ponzu, GP upped the sandwich with her clean—equally superlative—version.

  2. I'm not easily impressed but I'll admit when I'm wrong. I just read an article about Gwyneth's kitchen. I think it's in NYC or somewhere on the east coast. It was beautifully designed but I muttered under my breath, "Yeah right. She's never cooked even a grilled cheese sandwich in there." Maybe she has! She sure appeared to know her way around the kitchen in this video at least. BTW, The Chef and Burnt are 2 of my most favorite movies.
