  1. I would love it if you reviewed a product of Israel named Holive Oil it has very good reviews, sold in a metal container and with everything going on in Israel right now lots of people want to support their products.

  2. My favorite EVO is the one made with Taggiasca olives, produced in Liguria, in Imperia province. I have some friends that make it in in an artisanal way and It's stunning! It's sooo good. It's strong and spicy, a very intense aromatic scent and a taste that has no equals. But It's not suitable to be used for every recipe. Vincenzo, why don't you make a video to explain how to pair different extra virgin oils with different kind of foods? You know how the right choice of the kind of EVO you use is important for a good balance in the dish you use it for. You would use a different kind of oil for a bruschetta al pomodoro and a different one for a steamed mediterranean fish, wouldn't you? It would be interesting to say a thing or two about the importance of a correct pairing of the oil with the food.

  3. Very strategic selection… worse and best from same place. Not biased at all

  4. My uncle nino used to put a gun to my head and said I better be careful what I say about his oil

  5. Arguing about whose olive oil is the best is akin to arguing about which women of the world are the most beautiful. There are tasty olive oils and beautiful women all around the world.

  6. Thanks man for the advice. I think I’ll just stick to my pork lard and my margarine. I drink fine cheap $3.50 wine and red and white beer every weekend.

  7. I wonder if the bottling is different based on where you live? I'm in Texas and I just went and checked my unopened bottle of Bertolli. It not only lists the different countries where the olives came from, but also has harvest dates for it. Oddly enough it has olives from both 21-22 and 22-23.

Thanks for the tips on what to look out for on the bottles themselves! I'm not looking to spend a ton on olive oil but definitely will keep an eye out for better quality ones from now on.

  8. We are settled in Italy and am married to an Italian. Olive oil taste is subjective and different grades of spicyness are used for different end purposes. Like using a more delicate oil for fish.. a stronger one for salads etc etc. Also not everyone likes the spicy variety. Tuscany is by far the best when it comes to olive oil. Doesn’t irritate your throat and has a delicious almost sweet fruity flavor. I prefer Tuscan olive oils and also those from Umbria to those from Puglia. There are plenty of 100% Italian , cold pressed Tuscan olive oils available in italy. We even bought a few cans from local producers of San Gimignano while on vacations. So far the best olive oil ever.
Hence the spicy factor is not what makes the oil better or worse. That’s just a question of taste. What matters is that it’s cold pressed and olives coming from the same region.

  9. i buy single sourced olive oil only in a glass bottle with a harvest date. the mixed oils are most likely to be adulterated.

  10. 💚💖💚 thank you so much for sharing this INVALUABLE lesson… From a household who cannot live without good quality Olive Oil 💖 AND so proud knowing PRIMO ESTATE maker of JOSEPH OLIVE OIL is just less than 10 min drive from home 😍 GRAZIE GRAZIE MILLE 💖 ANTICIPO BUON NATALE 💚💚💚

  11. Thank you for the video.

    Question:
    1. did I hear correctly that olive oil in the tin does not have an expiration date?

    2. Would keeping the bottle of olive oil in the refrigerator prolong its life length?

  12. the best you can get in the U.S. without spending like an idiot is BRAGG'S (same brand as Bragg's Aminos). It is a real greek olive oil and you cannot beat it.

  13. Thanks for the tips, I have to pay attention to the dates/year and where they bottled and not mixed repackage, the taste.
