  1. I've never missed anchovies in Caesar salads ever since I started making the dressing using 1/2 to a full size ripe avocado, a minced clove of garlic, a teaspoon of Dijon mustard, the juice of a lemon and half that amount of Ume Plum vinegar with sea salt and black pepper. Try it. You'll see what I mean. No egg yolks, no oil and no anchovies needed at all. You won't miss them and you'll have a yummier less heavy, easier to digest, salad to boot.

  2. The original Caesar salad did not have anchovies. Had Worcestershire sauce which is made with anchovies, but did not have actual anchovy fillets.

  3. That sample face. Knice. 🙂
Hm, funky or salty? Looked like it could've been either. 😀

  4. When I see Caesar salad at a restaurant that says Anchovies by request I start dancing in my brain excited I get to eat them

  5. I ordered only once on a pizza to see what it tastes like..that was the saltiest pizza I ever had in my life..never again maybe I'm missing something
