1 red bell pepper chopped
2-3 serrano peppers chopped
2-3 jalapeno peppers chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
6 cloves garlic chopped
1 boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped
½ pound andouille sausage chopped – if you want to get REALLY meaty, add a whole pound!
3-4 tomatoes chopped – about a pound
1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 cups chicken stock
1 cup white rice I used a long grain – I only used 1 cup here, but you can fit 2 if you want the meal to feed more. If you do, add more stock.
½ pound shrimp peeled and deveined
3 teaspoons spicy Cajun seasoning (or use Creole seasonings)
1 teaspoon olive oil
Chopped parsley for garnish
Your favorite hot sauce for serving

You have a good cooking channel. I'm assuming that is an induction pot you have there, correct? Where can one get that pot?
looks fantastic, gonna try this recipe this coming friday
Not louisiana cajun sorry
Looks good. But how do you taste anything through the heat?
Jambalaya i very good i had to tomato paste but still worked out thanks to the chicken stock that thin out the paste and Instead of using all that hot stuff🔥 i used a Moderate amount of cayenne pepper 🌶 not to hot and not to Mile very good 👍 😀
Greetings from Germany. I found you because I was looking for a jambalaya recipe. I think I found it. here in germany there is a very good cajun spice. want to get me a bigger wok, about 45 cm /0 so more of all the great ingredients fit in. put this on my cast iron burner and wait for it to finish. hope my friends will like it.
Making this this week 😃. Thanks for clear and straight forward directions. Thank you also for putting the recipe in the description ❣️😍
Thank you! Turned out great. Served it at the Super Bowl 👌
Your jambalaya is amazing ty for the video
You need to take this video down n sell your recipe. Also release merch
Can’t wait to try this recipe, thank you. I see that you don’t brown your chicken and sausage beforehand . Is there a reason for that? Thanks again! 😊
where is the white wine cher?
So I looked at a lot of videos for this recipe and they were just poorly produced or all over the map yours was the only one that was nice and step by step with great visuals. Keep up the good work and thank you I'm going downstairs to make this now
I want to try this with vegi broth and chickpeas for a vegan version.
You can never make dishes “too hot”. It just clears up your sinuses that much faster! 😂
Oh come on! You put more hotsauce (which i like) than shrimp! That was only like 6 shrimp. I feel cheated! Uou will just have to come to my house and make this for me and Rod. I will take credit of course!
So before the rice your heat is about a medium high heat and then you cover and reduce to a simmer, is a simmer
Like a 1 or 2 (low)on the burner or you run it like a 4-5(medium) heat?
I thought you were going to put shrimp in it..?????????
I love this Creole jambalaya so much! What was the best jambalaya you've ever had?
I was led to believe the trinity used green bell peppers… that's what I use.
