Giada you are very careless her on the show i don't know y or how u missed it or were you just soo care less that when you lifted the bowl full of chocolate from the double boiler, u didn't use a napkin to hols the bowl underneath!! Coz the water dripping from underneath the bowl is a complete mess up for this cake batter! Basic baking knowledge !
