Lemon Cake Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup softened salted butter
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 pcs large eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1tsp baking powder

Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/8 tsp lemon flavor

  3. I definitely had to leave a comment. This is a great lemon cake recipe. I've tried many lemon cake recipes and so far this is the best. This has become my go to lemon cake recipe.
    I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup and I always add lemon zest for an extra lemony flavor. I once added more lemon juice and it did not work well. I normally top mine with a blueberry or strawberry glaze with some chopped walnuts for a bit of a crunch. Lovely recipe!!
