I just love cooking peach cobbler and I love seeing all your recipes even more. I hope you enjoy my very simple take on making peach cobbler. My entire recipe has six ingredients and is sooo easy to make. It is a favorite at the Lady and Sons and I hope it becomes a favorite on your dinner table as well.

The winner of this weeks activity challenge are Erin McKinley for her delicious-looking pictures and recipe and Caitlin Fitzgerald for her great video on a cool twist to my Peach Cobbler recipe!

Thanks again for all the submissions and be sure to check back tomorrow to see what next weeks dish is going to be!

Love and Best Dishes,
Paula

  1. I like Paula deems recipes. I already know what she is. Just like most white folks. So I just keep on living my life and loving the people who love me.that iS All.

  2. That is too wet for me, I like it much more dry, so I use less water maybe 3/4 cup water or so when cooking the peaches.

  3. I'd love to add a tart element to this, what would you recommend and how much? maybe lemon extract or lemon juice? Thank you for any wisdom.

  4. She didn't say anything that most people in the South didn't say sometime or another, so forget about it she apologised for it , now forget it and move on and quit bringing it up.

  5. Soooooo, one cup or two cups of sugar- because she added two, said two, then went back to one.. every video/ recipe she does for this is DIFFERENT! I added one cup sugar, took it out half way cooking and sprinkled a dark brown/ white sugar sprinkle that gave me a nice crunchy top!

  6. As ive commented on your other peach cobbler video i use a combination of my Nannys recipe and yours from your Lady & Sons cookbook. Its different from what you do here but its been ny rule of thinb since i was a kid.
Nannys redipe is 1 cup sugar, 1 cup self rising flower, 3/4 cup- 1 cup of milk and 2 regular sized cans of sliced peaches and 1 stick of butter. Sptinkle with cinnamon if you choose. I usually choose to. Lol

  7. She not the only white American to have regrets. Or I should say millions of them should have regrets. Shame on you all

  8. So many people are raking her over the coals because of something she said. Well, I’m here to tell you that no one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Just leave the lady alone. You do you and she’ll do her.
